Over 30 years our house and garden have been converted from a farmhouse with two barely habitable rooms (the rest being animal quarters and hay or machinery barns) and a field of lucerne to a very comfortable and aesthetic house surrounded by a beautiful relaxing garden.
When you arrive you will find a ‘welcome pack’ of some basic foods and extras as a basis for your first meal (tea, coffee, wine, eggs, sugar, butter, cheese, ham, pasta, bread).
The garden (plus orchard and woods) have many places to sit and simply enjoy the surroundings, many spots also have tables where outdoor drinks and/or a meal can be enjoyed. Views range from the adjacent hill of Chateauneuf, to distant views of the Ardèche hills over 50 miles away. On the chateauneuf hill, a ten minute walk away you can find some ruins of the old chateau and the roman chapel of Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel and enjoy the mixed oak and pine trees on the slopes.
